Microfilm Placemats

I made 3 of these placemats out of 16mm microfilm in collaboration with my mother, who bought the microfilm at Art Parts Creative Reuse Center in Boulder, CO. They are woven in plain weave with the edges bound by overlaid strips adhered to the selvedges with double stick tape.
