About Me

MB_split_1_b_&_w.jpg

I am a designer, weaver, artist, musician, teacher and independent scholar. You can learn much more about me from my collected works, architectural project list, and full CV elsewhere on this website than you will from this page, but here's a summary:

I was born and raised in Boulder, CO, and attended Hampshire College (2007-2011 - B.A.) and the College of Environmental Design at the University of California Berkeley (2015-2018 - M.Arch)

From 2018–2023, I worked as an associate at Loisos + Ubbelohde, an architecture firm specializing in energy modeling, lighting design, and daylight in Alameda, CA (see project list). From 2010–2015, I worked at the Josef and Anni Albers Foundation, where I researched and catalogued Josef Albers’s photographic materials.

I've been fortunate to have a number of things I wrote published - look at the Publications section of my CV and see the scholarship page of this website for more info.
